Hook Lane is a well-resourced 2 form entry school with an experienced staff of professional who love to innovate and lead on new initiatives.  This is a school in which a new teacher can truly flourish and be supported to ensure the very best outcomes for their pupils.  We focus on providing a broad, holistic curriculum with excellent teaching of music, PE, the arts and humanities, using a cross-curricular approach to ensure the academic skills are well embedded.  We were awarded a Good judgement in our recent Ofsted inspection of October 2017.

We have an excellent resourced provision for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and have an inclusive environment which makes the school an excellent place to learn more about strategies for ensuring that pupils with SEN fulfil their potential.

The school is very conveniently located within walking distance of Danson Park and a short walk from bus stops and Welling station.  We are lucky enough to have great outdoor areas, including 3 playgrounds and a large playing field.
