Hook Lane Primary School is a friendly, welcoming community looking for a temporary MPS teacher to join the dedicated, supportive team this September.  The position would ideally be in KS2 though there would be some flexibility on this, and applications from both NQTs and more experienced teachers would be welcomed

We are looking for a dedicated, creative and enthusiastic play leader to join our happy and hardworking

team at Hook Lane. You will be required to contribute, and support the work of the schools Early Years

Childcare and Development Unit, by way of managing sessional childcare activities for young children in

our After School Club. You will ensure the delivery of quality childcare and appropriate age related play

opportunities for children that attend the sessions.

A level 3 qualification is desirable but not compulsory. Ideally you will have a Food & hygiene and first

aid qualification, however training will be given if necessary.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our happy and hardworking team at Hook Lane. You will be mainly responsible for supporting the learning of individual children with an EHCP both in class and working on a 1:1 basis. Experience of working with children with ASD is desirable, though not essential.

You will work under the direction of the class teachers and Assistant Head teacher/Inclusion Manager. You will need to assess children's learning and provide accurate reports on children's progress to the class teacher and inclusion manager, and be able to differentiate learning according to a child’s needs to ensure they are successful in their learning. You may also be required to work with small groups of children to deliver intervention sessions under the direction of the class teacher or Assistant Head teacher/Inclusion Manager.
