The Role of the Local Academy Council
The Local Academy Council supports the development and delivery of the annual School Development Plan. It provides support and challenge to ensure every child has the best possible education.
How the Local Academy Council operates
Local Academy Councillors (LACs) hold a full meeting once a term. They regularly visit the school to look at areas related to school improvement. Parents are always welcome to approach LACs about general policy issues, but specific concerns about their child's education or complaints should be raised with the Class Teacher or Headteacher as appropriate in the first instance.
